Guilt-Free, Thin Crust Personal Pizza!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 whole wheat, thin (ie: Joseph’s ®) pita pocket

 

 

¼ Cup jarred spaghetti or pizza sauce

About 1.5 oz part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded

 

Other toppings of choice: chopped spinach, mushrooms, onions, etc.*

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. Place the whole wheat pita pocket (unopened) on a large baking sheet. Top with sauce and shredded cheese, (and other toppings of choice)


3. Bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and 

    the crust (pita) is crisp.

 


 

 

Calories per Pizza: 260.

* Nutrition facts are based on plain cheese (toppings not included in analysis).
